I could have been executed says Former Rivers State Governor Rotimi Amaechi





Previous Rivers state senator now Minister of Transport, Rotimi Amaechi, who filled in as the battle chief for President Buhari and Vice President Yemi Osinbajo amid the 2015 race, says he could have been executed only the way the late hippie, Ken Saro-Wiwa, was slaughtered for battling for the freedom of Ogoni individuals. Saro-Wiwa was hanged in November 1995 in exceptionally questionable conditions.

While talking at the introduction of a star APC non-govermental association, Free Rivers Development Initiative (FRDI) in Bori, Khana Local Government Area of Rivers state, Amaechi said his assurance to free Nigeria from the shackles of the previous organization could have prompted his passing.

''Saro-Wiwa was slaughtered by the then hardware of energy in light of his trust that Ogonis and the Niger Delta ought to be freed. I could have been executed by same machinery of power when we were battling to introduce President Muhammadu Buhari in light of the fact that we battled same power that slaughtered Saro-Wiwa'' he said Amaechi added that
